Kathy was a Tomboy when she was little.
She began modeling at age 17.
She was the Sports Illustrated's 25th Anniversary
Swimsuit Issue cover model in 1989.
The U.S. market became virtually saturated with Ireland
in the early '90s, when she appeared everywhere sporting everything
from couture spreads in Vogue and Mademoiselle to workout duds in
Fitness.
Kathy Ireland played the character, Brittany Maddocks
in Melrose Place in 1992.
Her Husband, Greg Olsen is a surgeon.
Her mother set her up with her husband.
Kathy has her own line of clothing at K-Mart.
She is a devoted Christian and Sunday School teacher.
Kathy is a favorite guest on The Tonight Show with
Jay Leno, bringing fashion shows there, as well as to MSNBC, The
Today Show, Rosie O'Donnell, Oprah, Entertainment Tonight, Access
Hollywood, The Main Floor, and to specials on E! and VH1.
